- - Ensure all orders are collected from Production in a timely manner and prepped for dispatch.
- - Ensure all orders are attentively checked as per customer specification.
- - Ensure all orders are dispatched to the correct visual standards and in the most cost effective manner. All orders must be ready & dispatched on/before the designated collection times.
- - Ensure the correct postage & packaging are adhered to and monitor the postage prices vs invoice. Inform the Production Supervisor if there is a noticeable difference.
- - Get stock from relevant areas as required and ensure quantities are clearly marked off.
- - Final quality control checks, packs & dispatch orders to meet customer specification and requirements. Ensure all requested documentation is accurately completed.
- - Replenish stock/packaging as required and ensure a good standard of housekeeping is maintained, including bins emptied at the end of each day and all cardboard taken to the appropriate bin.
- - Monitor stationary usage and inform Production Supervisor on what is needing ordered.
- - Use initiative and assist with other Production duties when not required in QC or Dispatch.
- - Produce printed and or encoded animal products using industrial laser printers ensuring customer specifications are fully met on all orders. Complete orders as requested and all documentation signed off.
- - Create/adjust/amend drawings if required and trained to do so. Fix any issues that may arise during your shift. Report any problems to the Production Supervisor.
- - Ensure the laser is running 100% efficiently and inform the Production Supervisor when leaving it unattended. Support production schedule, amend and adapt as appropriate, work overtime as required. Complete efficiency documentation as requested.
- - Record wastage and maintain appropriate records. Ensure wastage is kept to a minimum and the Production Supervisor is informed of any major problems.
- - Ensure workstations are cleaned down after use and unused stock returned to the correct location.
- - Follow Health & Safety procedures.
- - G.C.S.E or equivalent English and Maths, grade C or higher
- - 1 Years’ experience working in a busy Production Environment with exposure to QC & Dispatch
- - Proficient in Microsoft Office/computer skills
- - Excellent communicator - both written and oral.
- - Excellent planning and organising skills.
- - Analysis and Problem Solving Skills
