She has over 16 year’s experience in the Agri-Food industry, having spent 15 years with Moy Park and a further year with Monaghan Mushrooms. Karen is CIMA qualified and has extensive experience in measuring business performance. Within her skill set is detailed product and service costing, the provision of regular management accounts, supporting decision-making, budgeting, forecasting, overhead and cost reduction projects, monitoring profitability as well as establishing processes and systems.
Up to now, management accounting has been a vital tool used by larger organisations but the same techniques can be applied to any business in order to achieve growth or improve the quality of information available to smaller businesses.
