Countryside Services, through its Rural Services Division, has over 20 years’ experience in managing a wide range of programmes on behalf of DAERA and other government agencies. These extend from the New Opportunities for Farm Families programme (2003-2007), with its training and mentoring elements, to group development under the Supply Chain Development (2009-14) and Agri-Food Cooperation Schemes (2018-23); the Farm Modernisation (2009-13) and the Farm Business Improvement capital grant schemes (2016-24); and the CAFRE Knowledge Transfer Nutrient Management Planning Training (2023-24) and the CAFRE Soil Nutrient Health Scheme – theatre-style Training (Winter 2024 – Spring 2025).
Countryside Services is also a Lantra-approved training centre delivering a range of training courses, including PA1 Safe Use of Pesticides, PA2 Boom Spraying, PA6 Knapsack Spraying, Telehandler Training, and Rodent Control.
Countryside Services possesses a core team of associates with whom we have an established relationship and who possess the necessary qualifications, experience, and competencies required for the delivery of training.
